Scott D. Forrest MIFireE MIET is a freelance Fire Safety Consultant and is the Director of S D Forrest Consultancy Ltd since its creation in 2010.
Originally from an electronic research and development background designing fire detection and alarm equipment/systems. Scott’s work experience has taken him to major building projects around the world such as within the Middle East & Eastern Europe. Further experience over his career has been gained in multi-integrated Fire Safety Systems such as gaseous extinguishing, aspirating detection, Voice Alarm and Emergency Voice Systems.
From 2008, a career change gained training and experience within the field of Active and Passive Fire Safety measures when employed by a very reputable Fire Consultancy practice, Locke Carey Ltd. Whilst learning to produce detailed Fire Risk Assessments and advising on Fire Safety Systems and Management issues, gained a unique outlook regarding Fire and Safety within the building industry and building management, on and off construction sites.
